If you're tired of the cost and time involved in interviewing, testing and often times trying potential employees, only to find out later that it didn't work out - please call us about our MAP Job Ready Program.

Here's how it works.

You give us a job order for an employee with a specific skill and we produce a Job-Ready candidate who has been thoroughly screened, trained, and motivated for a career in manufacturing.

Example:

  1. Company Needs a welder
  2. Calls MAP & places job order
  3. MAP selects a candidate for the position from its pipeline
  4. Company interviews and hires candidate.

After 90 days, satisfied company pays MAP a placement fee.

The Manufacturing Alliance of Philadelphia's Job Ready Program is the first of its kind, designed specifically to close the skills gap that prevents companies from obtaining high quality, training manufacturing employees.

In addition, this program is designed to bring "new blood" into manufacturing by reaching, screening, and training worthy candidates.

All candidates are subjected to the rigorous intake and assessment process, then entered into the appropriate training program, either technical or basic (reading and shop math skills).

This program is largely funded by fees paid by companies who receive Job-Ready candidates.

The Manufacturing Alliance of Philadelphia is a project of the Urban Industry Initiative, a 501 (c) (3) not for profit corporation.
